Resolve missing scroll bars and UI elements by updating Adobe InDesign or applying a compatibility fix.
In multimonitor environments, InDesign may display panel interface issues that make navigation controls inaccessible. The scroll bar can disappear from the Pages panel, and other panels, such as Layers, may show missing controls or interface elements.
Update InDesign
Select Apps.
Locate InDesign in the app list.
Select Update or install the latest available version.
Launch the updated version of InDesign.
Verify that the Pages panel and other interface elements display correctly.
If you cannot update InDesign, install the provided compatibility plug-in for InDesign CC 2018 to resolve the display issue.
Note
If you receive an error when copying files during installation, extract the ZIP archive before running the included VBS script. Windows cannot run scripts directly from compressed ZIP files.
