Note

Print Layers options

The Print Layers menu provides three filtering modes:

  • All Layers: Prints every layer in the document, including hidden layers and layers marked as non-printing in Layer Options.
  • Visible Layers: Prints only visible layers, including those marked as non-printing in Layer Options.
  • Visible & Printable Layers: Prints only layers that are both visible and marked as printable in Layer Options.

Review or chage layer visibility

To review or change layer visibility and print settings before printing, open the Layers panel (Window > Layers) and select the panel menu icon, then select Layer Options. To set an object to nonprinting, select it, go to Window > Output > Attributes, and select Nonprinting.
