Use this reference to understand how each export option affects output quality, file size, and compatibility when exporting to JPEG or PNG. These settings control how document content is converted into images for web, digital display, or print.

Export facing pages in a spread to a single JPEG/ PNG file. Deselect this option to export each page in a spread as a separate JPEG/PNG file. |

Suffix |
Add a file name suffix like Incremental Numbers (^#), Page Number (^P), Page Size (^S), or a customized name for identification. |
Avoid using illegal or reserved characters in file or folder names, or in dynamic strings, to ensure smooth sharing between macOS and Windows. InDesign excludes the following characters during PNG, JPEG, and PDF export: “ \ / : * ? " < > | “
