Learn about stroke and fill options for controlling table and cell appearance in Adobe InDesign.

Access these options from Table > Cell Options > Strokes and Fills to set up borders and fills for table cells.

Cell stroke options

Option

Description

Weight

Sets the thickness of the cell border.

Type

Defines the stroke style.

Color

Sets the stroke color.

Tint

Adjusts the intensity of the stroke color.

Overprint Stroke

Applies the stroke over the underlying colors.

Gap Color

Applies color between dashes or dots (not available for solid strokes).

Gap Tint

Adjusts the tint of the gap color.
