Premiere Pro crashes when you open a specific project

Adobe Premiere Pro can sometimes crash if a workspace has become corrupted. Try these steps to troubleshoot your project crash.

If you suspect that your project file has a problem, try importing it into a new project.

  1. Select File > New > Project or select New Project on the home screen.
  2. Then, go to Window > Workspaces and deselect Import Workspace from Projects.

  1. Select File > Import navigate to the project file, and try to import it. You can choose to import the entire project or import selected sequences.
