Add collaborators using the Frame.io panel

Learn how to add collaborators using the Frame.io panel in Premiere Pro and the Frame.io web app.

With Frame.io, it’s easy to add collaborators so that you can share projects for reviews and collect comments and annotations directly in your project. You can invite collaborators using the Frame.io panel in Premiere Pro or the Frame.io web app.

Add collaborators using the Frame.io web app

Before you begin

Open your project in the Frame.io web app and log in to your Frame.io account.

  1. Add collaborator icon next to the Share button.
The Add collaborator icon is highlighted in the Frame.io web app for the user to add a new collaborator and send an invitation for collaboration.
Select the Add Collaborator icon to start the invitation process and add a new collaborator to the project.

  1. In the Project members dialog box, enter the email address of the collaborator you want to invite. If the user is already added to your account, you can search for them by name.
The Project members dialog box is open with the field to add the email address and an option to Invite via link.
Use the Project members dialog box to add a new email address and send an invitation for collaboration.

  1. Use the Project members dialog box to add the email address of the user you want to invite.
  2. Select Invite to trigger an email notification asking them to join the project.

Result

The invitation email will be sent to the email address of the invited collaborator. The notification for the invite will also be available in the notification centers for both Frame.io web app and Frame.io panel.

Note:

The invited user must sign in with the same email address that was used for the invite.

Add collaborators using the Frame.io panel

Before you begin

Open your project in Premiere Pro, enable the Frame.io panel by selecting Window > Workspaces > Review, and log in to your Frame.io account.

  1. In the Frame.io panel, select the Add collaborator icon next to the Share button.
The Add collaborator icon is highlighted in the Frame.io panel with Premiere Pro for the user to add a new collaborator and send an invitation for collaboration.
Select the Add Collaborator icon to start the invitation process and add a new collaborator to the project.

  1. In the Project Members dialog box, enter the user's email address you want to invite.
  2. If the user is already added to your account, you can search for them by name.
  3. Select Invite to trigger an email notification asking them to join the project.

Result

The invitation email will be sent to the email address of the invited collaborator. The notification for the invite will also be available in the notification centers for both Frame.io web app and Frame.io panel.

Note:

You can also create a project invite link using the Invite via link option. You can send this URL to users so that they can add themselves to the project.
