Learn how to add comments on specific video frames of shared projects during reviews.

Reviewers can comment on specific video frames in the text field below the composition window so that you receive real-time comments in the timeline. The reviewers can also use the annotation options such as font color to customize the comments before posting.

Before you begin

Enable the Frame.io panel by selecting Window Review with Frame.io and ensure you have the shared project or file in the Frame.io panel.

  1. Double-click the shared project to open the player in the Frame.io panel.
  2. Play and pause on the frame where you want to add a comment.
  3. In the comment field, type your comment and select Send.

The collaborators can use the Show comments option at the top-left corner of the Frame.io panel to view the reviewers and their comments. These comments are timestamped, and you can post replies, delete, and mark these comments as complete.

Tip:

Navigating the Timeline panel using the review comments is simple. When you select a comment, it takes you to the specific video frame to which the comment was added.
