Remove collaborators using the Frame.io panel

Last updated on Dec 14, 2023

Learn how to remove collaborators from your projects to prevent accidental changes by collaborators who no longer need to collaborate or for security reasons.

With the Frame.io panel in Premiere Pro, it's easy to remove collaborators from projects. Doing so means collaborators will no longer be able to view or comment, upload or download files, participate in reviews, and receive notifications.

Before you begin

Ensure that the identified collaborator who needs to be removed from the project has completed the review or edits. Once a collaborator is removed, the collaborator can no longer access or edit the media.

  1. Select the project in the Frame.io panel.
  2. Select the Show collaborators option next to the Share button in the Frame.io panel.
  3. Select the Remove collaborator option next to remove from the project.
The Remove collaborator option highlighted in the Frame.io panel.
Use the Remove collaborator option to remove collaborators' access to the shared project while retaining their edits and comments.

  1. Select Do it to confirm the removal.

Result

The collaborator will remove them from the project and stop their access to the shared project in the Frame.io panel and web app.
