Invite collaborators to co-edit a project (beta)

Last updated on Apr 8, 2024

Learn how to invite collaborators to your Premiere Pro project and allow real-time collaborative video editing.

Use Invite under the Share options to convert any Premiere Pro projects to a Team Project, invite collaborators, and provide them instant access to the project for collaborative video editing.

Before you begin

Open the Premiere Pro project for which you want to invite collaborators for collaborative video editing.

  1. Select the Share button, and then Invite.
  2. In the Convert to Team Projects and Invite dialog box, under the General tab, enter a name and description and select Invite.
  3. You can also specify other project-related settings before you invite collaborators.
    • Options: Set renderer for video rendering and playback as well as video, audio, and capture display formats.
    • Color: Set display color settings such as HDR Graphics White (Nits), 3D LUT Interpolation, Viewer Gamma, and enable or disable Auto Detect Log Video Color Space.
    • Scratch Disks: Specify temporary storage for Premiere Pro to store your captured video and audio, previews, Creative Cloud Library, and Motion Graphics template media.
    • Ingest Settings: Enable Ingest Settings to specify ingest action, presets, and the primary and proxy destinations.
  4. In the Edit Collaborators dialog box, add the email address of the collaborator and select Invite to trigger an invite. This dialog box also shows the list of collaborators with the status of invitations and an option to remove collaborators.
  5. Select OK, and you'll get a dialog box that shows the invitation email progress. A copy of your project is created, hosted, and backed up to the cloud.
