Frame.io for creative cloud Accounts and Billing FAQ

Last updated on Dec 14, 2023

Find answers to questions about Frame.io for Creative Cloud Accounts and Billing.

Am I charged when I sign in to Frame.io with my Adobe ID?

The first time you sign in to Frame.io using your Adobe ID, you'll start a 30-day free trial of the Frame.io Team plan. At the end of the 30-day Frame.io Team plan trial, you’ll continue to receive the enhanced free Frame.io plan with 100GB of Frame.io cloud storage, 5 projects, and Camera to Cloud.

You can always upgrade to a paid Frame.io plan (Here is more information on Frame.io plans).

Is billing linked to my Adobe subscription if I decide to purchase the Frame.io Team plan?

No, at this time, Frame.io billing is separate from Adobe Creative Cloud billing. You must purchase Frame.io Pro, Team, or Enterprise plans separate from Creative Cloud.

I already created a free Frame.io account with my Adobe ID. How do I get the enhanced free Frame.io plan?

To create a new Frame.io account with your Adobe ID, you must first change your existing Frame.io primary email address.

  1. Change the email address in your existing Frame.io account so it’s no longer the same email address as your Adobe ID.
  2. Once the email address associated with your Adobe ID is no longer connected to the existing account, you can log in to Frame.io by selecting the Continue with Adobe ID button to activate Frame.io for Creative Cloud.
Note:

Note: Be sure to download any assets you want to keep from your original account before changing. If you would like assistance, contact Frame.io support.

How do I begin using Frame.io?

As a Creative Cloud subscriber, you can sign in to  Frame.io using your Adobe ID (Locate your Adobe ID here). Sign in directly through the Frame.io panel built into the latest versions of Premiere Pro and After Effects (Update your app). You may also log in directly through the Frame.io website.

If you are a Creative Cloud Teams or Enterprise member, your administrator should set up or enable the Frame.io account first and then invite you and your group members to the account to maximize your collaboration. For more information, see Frame.io and Creative Cloud for teams and enterprise plans.
