Learn how to manually copy and transfer custom Premiere keyboard shortcuts between computers or locations using .kys files.

Save a keyboard shortcut preset
Customize your shortcuts as needed, select Save As, enter a name for the preset, and select Save.
Copy the preset to another computer
Locate the saved keyboard shortcut preset file on your computer:
- Windows: Users\[user name]\Documents\Adobe\Premiere Pro\[version)\Profile-username\Win\
- macOS: Users/[user name]/Documents/Adobe/Premiere Pro/[version]/Profile-username/Mac/
Copy the .kys file to a removable drive, like a USB thumb drive, then copy it from the drive to the appropriate location on the new computer.
