Add effects to audio tracks

Learn to control tone, balance volume, and improve sound quality by adjusting track-level audio settings in Adobe Premiere.

Select Window > Audio Track Mixer.

Select the Show/Hide Effects and Sends icon in the top-left corner to view the Effects and Sends panel.

Select a track to apply an effect to.

Select the Effect Selection icon and then choose an effect. The parameters for the effect appear in the lower-right corner of the Effects and Sends panel. 

Set the value for the selected parameter. The options available for each effect are different.

The Analog Delay parameters control the repetition of audio is visible for adjustment.
Adjust the Analog Delay parameters to control the repetition of audio.

Toggle the fx icon to apply or remove the effect.

Play your track to hear the audio effect and see the highlighted.

Remove a track effect by selecting Effect Selection icon and then selecting None from the list.

Bypass a track effect by toggling the Effects Bypass icon in the lower-right corner of the effects list.
