Display Lumetri Scopes

Last updated on Apr 2, 2026

Learn to monitor color and exposure in Adobe Premiere using visual scopes to balance brightness, contrast, and tone.

Lumetri Scopes displays a set of resizable built-in video scopes: Vectorscopes, Histogram, Parade, and Waveform. These scopes help you evaluate and color-correct your clips.

To open the Lumetri Scopes panel, select Window > Lumetri Scopes from the menu bar.

To display a specific scope, right-click anywhere in the Lumetri Scopes panel and select a scope from the drop-down. The panel displays the selected scope.

To configure scope settings, locate the dropdown menu in the lower-right corner and select the appropriate mode for your footage: 8-bit, 10-bit, float, or HDR. For HDR footage, the scope scale automatically adjusts to display a range between 0-10000 Nits.

To clip any signal above 100 IRE or below 0 IRE, select the Clamp Signal checkbox. Clamping affects only the scope display and does not alter your timeline or exported footage.

Tip

To display all available scopes simultaneously, right-click the Lumetri Scopes panel and select Presets > All Scopes RGB or All Scopes YUV/YC.
