Display Premiere Pro interface on a second monitor

Learn how to set up a second monitor to create a larger workspace.
Before you begin
- Connect your monitor to your computer and verify the display functions.
- Check if your system features Thunderbolt, USB, HDMI adapter options, or DVI or HDMI ports.
- Check the standard port that can connect to your monitor and computer. For example, if both have HDMI ports, use an HDMI cable to connect.
- Hover over the panel you want to move to the second monitor.
- Select and drag the panel to the second monitor wherever you want.
Note:
After you finish the setup, select Window > Workspaces > Save as New Workspace to save it as a custom workspace and use it later. You can create multiple configurations. For example, one for editing and one for grading, and quickly switch between the two.
Result
Moving panels to a second monitor can reduce clutter and ease the editing process.
