You can automatically adjust and match the loudness levels of multiple audio clips within your project. It helps ensure that all audio clips have consistent loudness, making your audio sound more professional and preventing sudden volume fluctuations between clips.

Before you begin

Select an audio clip in the timeline and select Window > Essential Sound. Make sure you have automatically tagged the audio type.

Auto-match loudness

  1. Select an audio clip in the timeline.
  2. In the Essential Sound panel, expand the Loudness tab.
  3. Select Auto-Match.
