Unable to move panels to the second monitor

Last updated on Dec 14, 2023

Try these solutions if you can’t move Premiere Pro panels to a second monitor.

Solution

  • Ensure the panel is undocked before you drag.
  • Sometimes Premiere Pro "overhangs" by a pixel or two in the second monitor preventing it from using it as a second display
  • Ensure your GPU drivers are up to date and check if it's detected in File > Project Settings > General > Render.
  • Ensure your computer meets the hardware recommendations for Premiere Pro.
