Learn about Adobe cloud storage options, file upload limits, and storage quotas.

Storage options

Adobe cloud storage offers the following storage limits:

  • 5 GB free storage
  • 100 GB with an Acrobat Pro subscription
  • 20 GB with Adobe Acrobat Export PDF subscription
  • 20 GB with Adobe Acrobat PDF Pack subscription

Compress PDF limit

The file size limit for compressing PDFs is 2 GB.

Note:

Your internet speed and document complexity can affect conversion ability, even within the 2 GB limit. Very complex files may not convert successfully.

Storage quota

If you reach your free or subscription-related storage limit, you can still browse, download, and access content, but uploading will prompt a quota notification.

The following actions can trigger a quota notification:

  • Uploading documents to Adobe cloud storage.
  • Using PDF Convert, Combine, or Organize tools in Adobe cloud storage web or Acrobat Reader.
  • Converting PSD, INDD, and AI files to PDFs in Acrobat.
  • Converting PDFs on the Acrobat Reader mobile app.
  • Scanning with Adobe Scan.
Note:

Adobe Acrobat Sign use is unaffected by storage limits. Exceeding the storage quota won't impact the ability to send or sign agreements using Acrobat Sign.
