Payments disabled after modifying an agreement

Learn how to resolve disabled payment issues if an agreement is modified.

If the first recipient delegates their signature authority or the sender modifies the agreement after delegation, payments may be bypassed, causing the agreement to be completed successfully without securing payment.

  1. Go to Acrobat Sign and log in using your admin credentials.

  2. Select Account Settings > Send Settings.

  3. In the Modify Agreements section, select the Allow senders to modify agreements checkbox.

    By allowing senders to modify agreements, they can modify an agreement even after delegation without disrupting the payment processing.

  4. Select Save.
