Learn how to convert emails to PDFs using Acrobat for Microsoft Outlook.

Converting emails to PDFs allows you to easily archive and share important communications securely. This process preserves formatting and attachments, making it ideal for maintaining a record of client correspondence or legal documentation.

  1. Open the email that you want to convert to PDF.

    Note:

    You must have an Acrobat Pro or Standard subscription to convert emails to PDFs.

  2. From the menu on top of the email, select More options  > Adobe Acrobat .

    Note:

    If you don't see the Adobe Acrobat icon in the top menu, select the Apps icon > Adobe Acrobat.

  3. From the Acrobat panel, select Convert email to PDF.

    Outlook page displays the Adobe Acrobat panel with the following two options: Convert email to PDF and Append email to PDF.
    To save or share an important email, you can convert it to PDF using the Acrobat add-in.

The selected email is converted to a PDF and you get a confirmation message.

Tip:

Once the email is converted to PDF, you can download the file or save it to OneDrive.
