Learn about generating meeting summaries and insights using Acrobat AI Assistant and Generative Summary tools.

Acrobat AI Assistant tool can quickly provide comprehensive answers to your questions based on PDF content. The AI Assistant links to text and data tables within the document and suggests follow-up questions.

The Generative Summary tool generates document outlines with headings and summaries highlighting key points. This feature provides key insights, processing PDF content in chunks for faster summaries.

Refer to Adobe Acrobat's Generative AI guide for details on usage, guidelines, and limitations.

Note:

If you cannot use the AI Assistant, contact your admin to request access.

Efficiency in meetings with AI Assistant

To make your meeting more efficient with AI Assistant, you first set up your meeting with the participants and record/transcribe it. After the meeting, you'll receive a notification and suggested questions to help you get started. You can then use the AI Assistant prompt to:

  • Create meeting notes: Selecting Create meeting notes on the bot notification opens the PDF in Adobe Acrobat Viewer and creates a meeting summary. You can send the summary to all participants by selecting Send Summary
  • Get useful insights: You can ask the AI assistant to create meeting notes, list raised concerns, understand meeting goals, and identify the next steps.

You can use the suggested options in the AI bot notification to take the desired action.

Note:

To allow Acrobat to notify organizers after their recorded meeting, you must enable the meeting transcripts notifications settings in the Admin Config Portal.
If your admin has turned on the meeting transcripts notifications setting and you don't receive this notification, ensure you have turned on notifications from the Acrobat for Microsoft Teams app. To do so, go to the Chat in Adobe Acrobat app in Microsoft Teams, type "Notifications on," and select Send.
