Learn how to rotate, move, or delete images using Acrobat on the web.

You can easily edit images within your PDFs directly from your browser to ensure your documents are well-formatted and visually appealing.

  1. On the Acrobat on the web homepage, select Edit > Edit text & images.

  2. Choose Select a file and browse on your device to upload the PDF file.

  3. Select the image that you want to edit and use the tools in the Edit panel to make updates:

    • To rotate the image clockwise, select Rotate right .
    • To rotate the image anti-clockwise, select Rotate left .
    • To delete the image, select Delete image .
    • To replace the image, select Replace image, and then using the dialog that opens, select the image you want to use.
    • To add text to the image, select Add text and then drag the cursor to the desired position and type the text. Once you add text, you can reposition or reformat it using the text tools from the left panel.
    • To move the image to a different location, hover over it until you see the drag handle icon, and then drag the image to a new location.

    The updated PDF will reflect the edited images, and all changes are automatically saved to Adobe cloud storage.
