Required permissions for the Acrobat app

The Acrobat app uses delegated access to manage your personal data or resources. The permissions required include:

  • User.Read: Allows sign-in and reading the user's profile and basic company information.
  • Files.Read.All: Allows reading and previewing files that a user selects.
  • Files.ReadWrite.All: Allows writing and saving files that a user comments on, and actions like organizing, compressing, and exporting files.
  • Team.ReadBasic.All: Allows reading the names and descriptions of teams.
  • User.ReadBasic.All: Grants access to basic profile properties of other users for @mentioning.
Note:

Any PDF shared in Microsoft Teams is stored in your OneDrive or SharePoint accounts. Viewing, commenting, and searching happen locally on your machine. Any changes to the document are saved to OneDrive or SharePoint. For creating, organizing, combining, or exporting, the document is temporarily sent to Adobe cloud servers for processing and deleted within 24 hours, remaining encrypted throughout.
