With the Free Public beta program, you can try out experimental features and builds of Substance 3D Modeler before they reach full release. Public beta builds are generally less stable than the current non-beta build of Modeler, so we advise that you avoid using the Public beta for time-critical work.
Joining the Free Public beta is easy, and doesn't require an existing Creative Cloud subscription. Find out how to join the Free Public beta here.
Don't forget to join the Modeler Community to share your feedback and suggest improvements to these in-development features.

Modeler V1.19.50 full release notes
New Features:
- Line constraint is now available. Line constraint limits the movement of the brush to be along a line or across a plane, making it easier to create straight lines or flat planes using the Clay tool.
Primitives:
Duplicated primitive containers no longer unhide objects that were hidden.
Fixed a shading issue that would cause black areas when using Avoid or Repel combine modes.
Export:
Export quality has been improved due to implementation of dual contouring.
Improved parallelization means that all exports are faster.
A polycount estimate is now available in Export mode.
Added a settings popup to the Project assets panel in Export mode.
General UI tweaks to Project assets panel.
Updated Actions menu in Export mode to only have controls relevant to Export mode.
Quality of life:
Camera support in VR improved.
Color select panels and the Outliner settings menu now close correctly when canceled.
Added safeguards to prevent materials being saved with a blank name.
Fixed an issue that made the Spline brush disappear when taper value was at extreme values.
Modeler can now be run on integrated GPUs. Many integrated GPUs are not powerful enough to run Modeler comfortably, however the artificial limit has been removed since certain APUs and CPUs are capable of running Modeler. Minimum and recommended hardware requirements have not been affected by this change.
Fixed a bug that caused flickering on certain AMD GPUs.
Resizing mid-warp has been disabled.
Copy and paste buttons
Fixed a bug that prevented meshes being duplicated when using the Create a copy button in the Actions menu.
Icons for Copy and Paste in the Actions menu are visible again.
The Make stamp button is only available if the selection can be used to create a Stamp.
