With the Free Public beta program, you can try out experimental features and builds of Substance 3D Modeler before they reach full release. Public beta builds are generally less stable than the current non-beta build of Modeler, so we advise that you avoid using the Public beta for time-critical work.

Substance 3D Modeler Beta 1.15.50 overview
Beta 1.15.50 introduces a collection of new combine modes to primitives. Inset, Extrude, Groove, Tongue, Repel, and Avoid give you more control over how your primitives work together than ever before.

- Fixed the background color in the about panel.
- Fixed an issue where the Gizmo translation handle could be hidden while in Orthographic mode.
- Fixed a bug where ineligible objects could be dragged in or out of primitive containers, causing unexpected results.
- When scaling the sole primitive inside a primitive container, the container is scaled too.
- Ensure that the viewport camera on desktop is always oriented correctly.
- Camera previews in VR now update correctly when moved.
- Pasted and duplicated primitive objects are now added after the last selected object in the current primitive container.
- Fixed a crash that could occur when trying to intersect a primitive with an empty group.
