Learn how to group or ungroup objects in a layer when working with complex designs with multiple objects.

Use any of your designs and work with layers in a few simple steps. 

Before you begin:

Create a design in Adobe Express and add multiple objects to it.

  1. Hold the Shift key and select the objects you want to group in your design.

  2. Select Group   button on the left panel.

    Different elements in the design are selected and the Group button is highlighted. The Group button allows grouping of the selected objects in the file.
    Use the Group button to group selected objects in your design.

    Note:

    You can also use Cmd + G (macOS) or Ctrl + G (Windows) keyboard shortcuts to group selected objects.

  3. To ungroup a layer, select the grouped layer and select Ungroup   on the left panel.

Result

The selected objects are grouped.
