Learn how to add beautifully designed charts into presentations, infographics, documents, and more to showcase your data clearly and concisely. 

Use pie charts, donut charts, and bar charts

  1. Open a design in the Adobe Express editor.

  2. Select Elements from the left panel and then select Charts.

  3. Select the desired pie chart, donut chart, or bar chart from the Charts section.

  4. Scroll to the LABEL and VALUE fields and add your data.

  5. Use the  icon to manage the list by adding a new item, deleting an item, or moving an item's placement.

    Adobe express editor is open with a pie chart on the canvas. Data is displayed for the month of Jan, Feb, and March with Label and Value. The More menu is open to add an item, move a row, or delete a row.
    Use the More icon to easily manage the items on your list.

  6. Stylize a chart by selecting a template from the Chart type section. If you can't find the styling option you're looking for, select the Properties icon to customize the following:

    • Select Labels and Legends to stylize the chart.
    • Select Numbers or Percentage to showcase the data.
    • Select Font settings and choose your desired font type, size, and color. 
    A pie chart is open in the Adobe Express editor with the chart type section showcasing a lot stylized charts. The properties icon is highlighted which shows styling options for labels, legends, and font settings.
    If you're unable to find a stylized template of your choice, use the Properties icon to customize the chart.

Use progress charts

  1. Open a design in the Adobe Express editor.

  2. Select Elements from the left panel and then select Charts.

  3. Select from one of the following progress charts:

    • Progress bar
    • Progress donut
    • Progress half-donut
    • Gauge chart
  4. To customize, select a stylized template from the Chart type section. If you can't find the styling option you're looking for, select the Properties icon to customize the following:

    • Turn the toggle to show or hide Label.
    • Turn on the toggle to change corner roundness.
    • Drag the slider to increase or decrease the thickness.
    • Select Font settings and choose your desired font type, size, and color.

  5. To customize the chart, select Fill and Value and then select the desired color from the menu.

  6. To customize the chart further:

    • Drag the Value slider to increase or decrease the percentage value.
    • Drag the Opacity slider to increase or decrease the opacity of the chart.
    • Open the Blend dropdown and select Normal, Multiply, or Screen.
Tip:
  • Select Theme  to apply a color theme to the design. The theme is instantly applied to the chart used in your design.
  • Adobe Express is expanding its support for additional chart types. To see other types of charts, submit your request via User Voice
