Learn how to add linked assets to ensure your designs stay in sync as you edit in Photoshop or Illustrator. You can also convert your files to edit text and other elements directly.

Add Photoshop or Illustrator file as a linked image

Linked images ensure your Adobe Express design can stay in sync as you edit the image in Photoshop or Illustrator - eliminating the need to re-import the image.

  1. Open a design in the editor.

  2. Select the plus   icon.

  3. Select Your stuff, then browse your Files for a Photoshop or Illustrator file.

  4. Move and resize the asset within the editor.

  5. Select the Download   icon to save the image to your device or the Share   icon to share it with your online audience.

Convert and edit Photoshop or Illustrator files

Your Photoshop or Illustrator file will be converted to a new Adobe Express file. This will enable you to edit text and other elements directly in Express.

  1. From Home, select Start from your camera roll.

  2. Browse your device for a Photoshop or Illustrator file.

  3. Select Open.

  4. Customize the file by adding text, editing images, adding pages from templates, and more.

  5. Select the Download   icon to save the image to your device or the Share   icon to share it with your online audience.
