Identify and adjust the placement of objects in a video.

You can easily identify objects in a video, such as design elements, text, and images, and adjust the placement of these objects using the timing indicator dots that appear above your timeline.

Before you begin:

Upload a video to Adobe Express or browse through Adobe Stock videos and open a video in the editor. Add text, elements, and more to the video and adjust the layer timing of these objects in a video scene.

  1. Hover over a dot to view the thumbnail of the object.

  2. Select the thumbnail to pull up the layer timeline.

  3. Drag the trim handles to shorten or lengthen the duration of the object in your video.

Result

The objects are now timed to appear in your video based on your preference.

Tip:

Drag the trim handle and adjust it to the same start or end point as another layer in your video if you want objects to appear together in a video clip.
