Issues with moving or copying files into a project in Adobe Express

Last updated on Aug 6, 2024

Learn how to troubleshoot issues with moving or copying files into a project in Adobe Express.

Files created in the previous version of Adobe Express must be converted to the new file format before being added to a project. File conversion happens automatically when you open the file in the editor.

  1. Navigate to your desired file.

  2. Select the   icon on a file.

    • Files that have not yet been converted will show Edit in new version. Select this option to open your file.
    • Files that have been converted will show Edit and don't need to be selected or opened.
  3. Check each file you open to ensure the content hasn't been altered when converting to the new file format

For Teams and Enterprise users:

You can move files only across projects within your organization. Assets that have been shared with you can only be copied into projects.
