Follow along with any dsign to learn how to create text variations using generative AI.

  1. Select a template or an existing document from Your stuff on the Adobe Express homepage.

  2. Select any existing text object in the design and highlight the text you want to rewrite.

Note: You can highlight a text object or select a specific range of text you would like to rewrite.

  3. From the Rewrite menu above the text object, select one of the suggested edits: Rephrase, Shorten, or Lengthen.

  4. Select from the provided pre-set tones, then select Generate.

Note: Text selections under 150 words will generate three results, while selections over 150 words will generate one result, which allows for easier parsing of the generated text.

  5. To see more variations, select the icon.

  6. Choose a result and select Replace to update the design, or Add as page to duplicate the page and insert the new text.

Note:

Read Adobe's Generative AI user guidelines for using Rewrite in Adobe Express.
