Learn more about brand style controls for shared templates in Adobe Express.

You can apply style control settings to shared templates to keep the team on-brand. These settings restrict access to only approved colors and fonts. Once you enable Lock & Restrictions on a template, collaborators can only access the colors and fonts in the Brands or Library that stores the template and cannot change these settings. This feature is available for Teams and Enterprise plans.

Note:

Create a brand kit with colors and fonts before enabling restrictions. Once enabled, collaborators can’t access the Themes panel or use text effects to ensure brand consistency.

Exceptions to Brand colors and font enforcement

  • Color: Collaborators can still access true black, white, and transparent options from color pickers.
  • Font: If a collaborator utilizes the Translate feature on a template with font restrictions, the resulting pages may require fonts beyond those available in the brand or library for accurate translation. If the template contains a font not in the brand or library when publishing, users can access it in their remixed templates.
