Learn how to crop a video.

Try it yourself
Crop your video and change its aspect ratio in a few simple steps.

  1. On the Adobe Express homepage, select Video.

  2. In the Video Quick actions section, select Crop video.

  3. Browse for a video on your device.

  4. Choose a pre-defined Aspect ratio or choose Freeform to set your own dimensions.

  5. Drag the handles on the video's timeline to set start and end points. 

    The Crop video prompt is open in the Adobe Express Crop video quick action and the Freeform
    Use the Freeform option to manually use the handles to crop the video.

  6. Select Mute if you want to remove the original video's audio.

  7. Select Download.

Result

The video is cropped based on the Aspect ratio specified or freeform cropping.
