Unable to view the Open in Photoshop or Open in Illustrator button

Try these solutions if you're unable to view the Open in Photoshop / Open in Illustrator button.

Check if the assets are added from a Library

You'll encounter these errors if assets are added from a Library. Assets added from a library can only be opened in the Creative Cloud Web.

Check if you have edit access to the linked image

Linked images to which you don’t have edit access cannot be opened in Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator for editing. 

Ensure you're working on Adobe Express on desktop

Open in Photoshop and Open in Illustrator aren’t available on the Adobe Express mobile app or mobile web.
