Learn about the Classroom feature in Adobe Express.

The Classrooms feature gives educators the ability to manage students and create and manage assignments. Educators can add/invite students directly to their Adobe Express classes, making creative assignments seamless to review in real-time and easy for educator and student collaboration.

With Classrooms, teachers can:

  • Create classes.
  • Invite/add students to Adobe Express and manage student membership.
  • Assign creative projects to students.
  • Monitor student progress in real-time, and comment on student work as soon as a student starts an assignment, not only when they submit the assignment. This allows educators to offer direct feedback and support throughout the project cycle.

Find Classrooms

The Classrooms tab is visible to all educators and students from the left panel on the Adobe Express homepage. When selecting the Classrooms tab, self-identified educators and students will be surfaced. Only educators and school or district administrators can create classes in Adobe Express. Students can access Classrooms once they are invited/added to Classrooms by their educator. If you don't see the Classrooms tab in Adobe Express, ensure you are identified as an educator in our system.

You can confirm your role as an Educator by accessing Profile > Settings > Role Settings. Ensure your role is set to I'm an Educator. Once you refresh your browser, the Classroom tab should appear in the left panel of Adobe Express.

Classroom profile

Depending on your account type, you may see a Profile switcher in the top navigation bar. This lets you switch between your personal profile (where you can manage your personal Adobe Express projects) and your classroom profile (where you can manage projects and assignments for your classrooms). If you are unsure where your projects are, the Profile switcher makes it easy to locate them.
