Quick license assignment for teams

Swiftly assign licenses using the Quick Assign workflow.

The Quick Assign workflow simplifies your primary admin task of assigning licenses to users from the Admin Console after your organization purchases Adobe products. The workflow is intuitive and optimizes the license assignment experience for teams of all sizes.

Assign users

Note:

The Quick Assign workflow appears in the Admin Console as long as there are unassigned licenses in your organization.

    • Assign the license to yourself.
    • Assign the license to another user.

Mid-size teams can have up to 20 licenses for one or more products.

  1. Sign in to Admin Console, and click Assign Now.

  2. Specify the ID of assignees, and click Confirm.

If you want to assign licenses to multiple products, click + and select the products.

    Add multiple products

  3. Click Confirm. The licenses are assigned to  the users and the you specify and a confirmation email is sent to their email addresses. The Overview tab is displayed with licenses assigned.

If your team has more than 20 licenses for one or more products, it qualifies as a large team. Use the CSV method to assign licenses in bulk.

However, if you have a specific need, you can assign users individually. Click Add individual users, specify individual users, and add one or more desired products.

Assign licenses using a CSV file

If you are a large or mid-size team with ten or more licenses, Adobe recommends that you assign licenses in bulk. Upload a CSV file containing the details of users and the products to be assigned.

If you are a large team, you see the following screen immediately when you sign in to the Admin Console and start Quick Assign. If you are a mid-size team, click Add users by CSV in the assign user screen to reach this screen.

Add users by CSV

Drag the CSV file or browse your computer and upload the CSV file, and then click Confirm.

The CSV file is uploaded and the Overview tab is displayed with details of the assigned licenses.

Next steps

Now that you have assigned licenses, go ahead and perform the extra tasks that may be required.

Deploy apps

If your users have admin privileges, you're all set. Users can download and install apps from Creative Cloud web.

If you want more control, create packages using the Admin Console to deploy apps for users. For more information, see Deploy apps and updates.

Add secondary admins

It’s useful to have another system administrator in case account-level issues arise, and you aren’t available to respond. To avoid potential disruptions in your service, we recommend adding one or more administrators. For more information, see Add an admin.

Manage users

Create, search, update, and remove users in your organization so you have control over who can use Adobe apps and services. For more information, see Adobe Admin Console users.
