License Types
Named user Licenses
These licenses require each user to be assigned a license; licenses can be assigned individually, via a group membership, URL request or via a rule at login. The name user license enables access to the Mobile and Web versions of the application and includes the advantage of installing the application on their own device at home.
Shared Device Licenses
These licenses are attached to the device. The user must sign in to their Adobe Account. As the licenses are device-based, the user must authenticate with a user license to access services such as Firefly and fonts.
Purchasing Additional Licenses
For customers on a VIP agreement, you can see your current Adobe Reseller by visiting
Adobe Admin Console > Account
To change the reseller, identify a new reseller and share the VIP number; the reseller will provide a security code to complete the change.
