Adobe XD quits when you sign out of Creative Cloud.
Issue
You may encounter the following issue:
- When you sign out from a Creative Cloud document and if there is any document which is open, Adobe XD application quits.
Solution
As a workaround for this issue, follow the steps mentioned below:
To fix sign out issues with Adobe XD
When you sign out from any Creative Cloud or other plug-ins in Adobe XD, if there is any document open in Adobe XD, then:
On Windows
- Cloud document is saved automatically and the window is closed.
- If it is a local document, Save or Don’t Save dialog appears. Save the file to a desired location on your computer.
On macOS
- Cloud document is saved automatically and the window is closed.
- You will receive a pop-up message to review the changes.
- Click Review Changes.
- Click Save in the dialog that appears.
You cannot continue to use Adobe XD without logging into Creative Cloud.
To fix the crash issue
When Adobe XD crashes, collect the crash report and logs from your system and share them with the Adobe Support team.
During crash, on Windows or mac OS, a pop-up dialog appears. Click Report... to save the report in system reports.
On Windows
Collect the crash logs from your computer.
On macOS

- In Console, click System Reports on the left pane.
- Search for Crash report having the file name with a prefix as Adobe XD_YYYY-MM-DD where YYYY-MM-DD is the date on which the file is saved.
- Right-click on the report file and click Reveal in Finder to get the logs which can be shared.
