Actions and Properties panels
The Actions and Properties panels are where you can edit objects in your scenes in Adobe Dimension. These panels are contextual - so they'll show actions and properties based on the type of object you have selected.
Actions
Actions are usually single click commands that perform some immediate task on an object. Some common actions shared across many objects include deleting, duplicating, and grouping objects. Some objects also have unique actions, like Match Image, which is an action only available on camera objects.
Properties
Properties are the specific attributes of an object that define its position, appearance, and behavior.
Properties will vary by object type but the most common are:
- Transform properties, which control the objects position in 3D space.
- Object-unique properties, such as camera properties, shape parameters, or text properties.
- Materials properties, which change the objects appearance.
