Add Adobe Express extension in Google Chrome and easily edit your photos or images on the web.

Use the Adobe Express extension for Chrome to easily edit your photos or images on the web by opening the Adobe Express editor right at the source of your inspiration. Achieve fast and fun results by completing quick actions or creating new designs using the web image in Adobe Express.

Add Adobe Express extension to Chrome

Open the Chrome Web store.
Search and select the Adobe Express extension for Chrome.
Select Add to Chrome.

Launch Adobe Express extension

You can launch the Adobe Express extension when you right-click an image on the web, and select Edit with Adobe Express.

Use Adobe Express Chrome extension

You can complete the following quick actions using the Chrome extension.

Crop image
Remove background
Resize image
Convert to JPG
Convert to PNG

You have to sign in using an Adobe ID to edit an image using the Adobe Express Chrome extension.

Edit an image using Adobe Express Chrome extension

Select an image on the web and right click it.
Select Edit with Adobe Express > Create a New project to open Adobe Express editor on the same window.
Edit your image and then select Download to save the image to your device.

Complete quick actions using Adobe Express Chrome extension

Select an image on the web and right click it.
Select Edit with Adobe Express and then select a quick action.
Select Download to instantly save the image on your device, or select Continue in Adobe Express to open the editor to make further edits on the image.

Use Adobe Express pinned view to edit images

Once you've installed the extension, you can pin it as an extension in Chrome for quick access.

Select the Extensions icon to the right of the address bar. Select the pin icon next to Adobe Express .
Select the dropdown menu of the Adobe Express icon, pinned to the right of the address bar, and then select a Quick action to perform.
Drag and drop or upload any image to the Adobe Express icon, pinned to the right of the address bar.
Edit your image using a quick action, or select Create from scratch to open Adobe Express editor on the same window.

How can I save the changes made to an image in Adobe Express web files?

Changes to an image using Quick actions or Create from scratch are automatically saved in Adobe Express web files. You can find them in the Adobe Express Google Chrome Extension folder.

Will the pinned view work if I don't enter a URL in the address bar?

No, the pinned view won't work if you don't have a URL entered in the address bar. Type in any URL and then try the pinned view.

Why do I see an error screen (Unknown error) when trying to perform a quick action or edit an image?

You'll get an Unknown error, in the following two scenarios:

When using an unsupported version of the browser that is Chrome version below 100.
When there is no network connectivity.

I have an Enterprise account, and when I try to use the Adobe Express Chrome extension, I see a blocked screen. How do I get access to use the extension?

If you have an Enterprise account, you'll see the blocked screen if you don't have an Adobe Express entitlement with your Enterprise account. Contact your Enterprise admin to provide you with the Express entitlement, to use the Adobe Express Chrome extension.
