Insert the Adobe Photoshop Elements DVD in your computer’s disk drive.

Learn how to install Photoshop Elements versions 2022 or earlier using a DVD.
In the Adobe Photoshop Elements <year> window, select Install Adobe Photoshop Elements <year>.
Note
If you close the dialog box or if your computer's security settings do not permit AutoPlay, browse to the DVD using Windows Explorer and double-click Setup.exe from the Adobe Photoshop Elements <year> folder. If any security warnings appear, select Yes.
Do one of the following:
- macOS: Navigate to Adobe Photoshop Elements <year> > Install.app and launch the installer. Enter your system's password if prompted.
- Windows: If you close the dialog box or if your computer's security settings don't permit AutoPlay, browse to the DVD using File Explorer and double-click Setup.exe from the Adobe Photoshop Elements 2022 folder. If any security warnings appear, select Yes.
Sign in with your Adobe ID and password.
Select Continue on the next screen and follow the on-screen instructions to start the installation.
On the Installation Options screen, select Language and Location, and then select Continue.
In the screen that appears, select Photo Editor.
Sign in again with your Adobe ID and password.
Select Activate now on the Welcome screen.
Enter your serial number and select Next.
Adobe Photoshop Elements launches successfully.
