Learn how to fix tonal problems and color casts in a few simple steps using Quick actions.

  1. On the Photoshop on the web homepage, under Start something new, select Upload an image and browse for a file on your device.  

  2. Select Quick actions .   

  3. Choose from the options provided in the Auto section:

    • Auto tone: Samples the image and redistributes the tonal values between shadows, midtones, and highlights for red, green, and blue separately.
    • Auto color: Redistributes tonal values between shadows, midtones, and highlights. Also, it corrects the unwanted color cast.
    • Auto contrast: Improves the overall image contrast by darkening the darkest pixels to pure black and lightening the lightest pixels to pure white.
  4. Select Download.
