Apply Effects

Learn how to transform your creations by applying powerful visual effects.

On the Photoshop on the web homepage, select Upload file and browse for a file on your device.

From the Toolbar, select Effects .

Select the desired effect from the different categories available in the Effects panel.

The Effects panel is displayed, showcasing different effects like Glitch, Grain, Dither, Noise, and more. — Use the Effects panel to transform your image.

Tip

Hover over any effect thumbnail to observe the live preview before applying it.

Adjust the properties of the applied effect using the Control panel.

Note

Some effects, such as Radial blur, Lens distortion, and Twirl, also provide on-canvas controls that let you adjust the effect interactively on the image.

Select Done.
