Lightroom on the web uses AI Masking tools to analyze your images and automatically identify the subject, sky, background, objects, or people. After making the selections, you can easily fine-tune them using the editing sliders to achieve the desired adjustments.

  1. On the Lightroom on the web homepage, select All Photos.

  2. Select an image to open it in detail view, and then select Masking .

  3. Within the Masks panel, select Create new mask. Then, choose one of the following AI Masking tools: Subject, Sky, Background, Objects, People, and more.

  4. Lightroom on the web auto-selects subjects, sky, background, objects, or people, showing the selection overlay and creating a mask in the Masks panel.

Note:

For People masking, you can select specific body parts, such as Facial SkinBody SkinEyebrowsEye ScleraLipsTeethHair, or Clothes, to enhance them.
