Frame.io and Creative Cloud for teams and enterprise plans

Starting October 14, 2024, Adobe Creative Cloud for Teams and Enterprise users will have access to Frame.io creative management and collaboration tools within Adobe Premiere Pro, as well as the Frame.io web, Apple iPad, and Apple iPhone apps.

Frame.io streamlines workflows by centralizing all assets, comments, notes, and feedback together in the cloud, where creatives, collaborators, and stakeholders can access them from anywhere in the world.

As Frame.io is still in the process of integrating into Adobe, some of the experiences provided may differ slightly from what Creative Cloud customers are used to. Review the following Frequently Asked Questions to learn more about Frame.io for Creative Cloud.

What is Frame.io?

Frame.io is a flexible, fast, intuitive, and secure creative management layer that empowers creatives and their teams with all of the tools they need to organize, review and manage work-in-progress assets, and orchestrate the people and processes supporting them.

Editors working in Premeire Pro can use the integrated Frame.io panel to stay connected with collaborators and key stakeholders, all without leaving their timelines.

This significantly reduces the time required for reviewing creative work-in-progress assets, getting notes, and implementing changes. For more information, visit Frame.io/adobe-cc.

What do Frame.io plans include?

Frame.io offers various customer plans depending on their business needs; options range from Free to Enterprise. You can find more information about those plans here.

When signing up with Adobe credentials, Creative Cloud customers unlock an enhanced free plan that includes 100GB of dedicated Frame.io cloud storage, the ability to work on up to five different projects with another user, and Camera to Cloud.

Admins can easily add even more collaboration and security features, users, and storage by upgrading to a paid plan in the Frame.io app.

Usage of Frame.io is subject to the Frame.io Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

What's the Frame.io Team plan trial?

The first time you sign in to Frame.io using your Adobe ID, you'll start a 30-day free trial of the Frame.io Team plan. At the end of the 30-day Frame.io Team plan trial, you’ll continue to receive the enhanced free Frame.io plan with 100GB of Frame.io cloud storage, five projects, and Camera to Cloud.

For more information, see Frame.io plans and features.

Will admins need to activate Frame.io for their users?

For Creative Cloud for individuals and teams, Frame.io will be enabled by default.

How can an IT Admin turn off Frame.io for all users?

When Frame.io for Adobe Creative Cloud becomes available, the following network endpoints will need to be accessible. IT Admins can use these network endpoints to block users from accessing Frame.io.

*.frame.io
*.f.io
frameio*.s3*.amazonaws.com

Note:

For the complete list and additional details, see the Frame.io list endpoints.

How can I start using Frame.io with Creative Cloud?

As a Creative Cloud Teams or Enterprise member, your administrator should set up or enable the Frame.io account first and then invite you and your group members to the account to maximize your collaboration.

What happens on Frame.io Team trial expiration, or if I exceed quota?

At the end of the 30-day Frame.io Team plan trial, you’ll continue to receive the enhanced free Frame.io plan with 100GB of Frame.io cloud storage, five projects, and Camera to Cloud.
If you exceed the user, project, or storage limits, you'll be unable to add more and be prompted to purchase a paid plan. While users can individually purchase and update to Frame.io Team plans, contact your administrator to inquire about a unified Frame.io Team or Enterprise plan as your organization requires.

Admins cannot manage Frame.io using the Adobe Admin Console at this time. To manage Frame.io accounts, admins can use the Frame.io console.

Note:

Adobe recommends that you reach out to our Adobe support team or contact your sales representative. We can provide guidance on plans that are suitable for your specific usage scenarios.

What if we have more than 15 members on our Creative Cloud Teams or Enterprise plan who would like to try Frame.io?

The Frame.io Enterprise plan is best suited for organizations with more than 15 members who need to collaborate. It allows unlimited members, teams, and storage, as well as enterprise-level security features for content and sign-in credentials. If you are interested in trying the Enterprise plan, please get in touch with your Adobe sales representative or Frame.io sales.

How can I get all the members of my Creative Cloud Teams or Enterprise groups added to the same Frame.io Account?

If you are a Creative Cloud Teams member, your administrator should set up or enable the Frame.io account first and then invite you and your group members to the account to maximize your collaboration. During the initial 30-day free trial of the Frame.io Team plan, your administrator can add up to 15 members of their choice. After the Team free trial ends, your admin can sign up to continue using the Frame.io Team plan.

If you are an enterprise user, setting up a team is best accomplished through a formal Proof-of-concept process that will highlight enterprise-level security, branding and storage features. Reach out to your Adobe sales representative who is ready to help you with this process.
