Learn how to generate webpages in Adobe Express.
Use Generate webpage in Adobe Express to create a fully designed webpage from a simple text prompt. Describe what you need, answer a few clarifying questions, and the webpage assistant will build a webpage you can refine and publish, all without leaving Adobe Express.
Access Generate webpage
From the Get started panel: On the Adobe Express homepage, select the add icon in the left panel, then select Generative AI > Generate webpage (Beta).
From the Webpage home page: Select Generate webpage.
Get started with prompts
Sample prompt
Create a product landing page for a sustainable skincare brand targeting millennials, featuring a hero section, product highlights, and a sign-up form.
Select the plus icon or drag and drop images or PDFs onto the prompt bar or side panel, then describe how you'd like them used. You can attach your own photos to include in the page, or use images as references to guide the assistant.
Answer any clarifying questions about the page’s content, tone, or style, or select Skip to continue.
Edit the webpage
Use the chat panel to add content, adjust the layout, or refine the design with prompts. To make targeted edits, select an element on the page before prompting.
You can also edit the webpage manually using the editor toolbars. Select the page or an element on the canvas to display the available editing options:
- All elements: Select the duplicate icon to copy an element, or select the delete icon to remove it.
- Images: Select Replace to swap the image, or the crop icon to adjust its zoom and position.
- Text: Change the text style, color, alignment, or formatting, including bold, italics, and lists.
- Buttons: Select Edit button to update the button text or URL.
Note
The Webpage Assistant has broader editing capabilities than the manual editor. If you hit a limitation, try the action in the assistant alternatively.
Select a section and use the blue arrows to move it up or down. To add a new section, select Add section, then choose a preset, add content from Your stuff, or prompt the assistant.
To apply a style, describe your preferred theme or prompt the assistant for suggestions. For manual adjustments, select Styles from the header.
Once the webpage is complete, select Share > Publish to web. Learn more about publishing webpages.
Note
You can also export pages as HTML or PDF files. For PDF exports, note that some pages may not render correctly due to format limitations, and any interactive or animated effects will not be preserved in the exported PDF.
Manage your chat history
Your chats and attachments are saved with each page. To remove them, select the three-dot menu in the prompt bar, then select Delete chat. Chat history is private and isn’t shared with co-editors.
