In Adobe Connect sessions, pods help create interactive experiences with discussions, Q&A, quizzes, and polls. As a host, you can monitor participant activity and performance using the session dashboard, which provides detailed visual metrics and engagement levels.
The session dashboard provides a detailed snapshot of participant engagement, interactions, and activity during the training. As a host, you can follow live performance and download reports after the session, while the dashboard keeps tabs on chat, video, and poll activity, offering insights on engagement and attendance.
The session dashboard will only be available for sessions held on Adobe Connect version 12.8 and above.

As a host, you can follow live performances and download reports after the session. The dashboard monitors chat, video, and poll activity and offers insights on engagement and attendance.
The session dashboard is accessible 45 to 120 minutes after the scheduled event ends.
Use the following steps to view the session dashboard:

Select any of the following tabs from the top menu bar:
- Meetings
- Training
- Seminar

Select the session for which you want to view the dashboard.

Select the Reports tab from the menu bar.

Select By Session and then select Go to dashboard to view the dashboard.
Note:The session dashboard will be available for every session of a room.
The dashboard consists of the following:
- Session summary: Provides a summary of the session's live and recording performance, including the recording link.
- Engagement: Provides an overview of the live session performance of sessions.
- Interactions: Provides a detailed view of participants’ engagement across pods.
- Attendee activity: Provides consolidated view about engagement.
- Download reports: Download reports for engagement in different pods.
Session summary
The Session summary provides a summary of both live and recorded sessions and the recording of a session. The summary also provides the number of registrations, attendees, duration of the event, number of views of the recording, and much more. You can also download the session summary details as a PDF.
Select Session summary (PDF) to download the summary.
View the following information in session summary.
View the number of attendees, duration of session, and average attendee duration.
View the total views, number of participants who viewed the recording, and average watch duration of the recording. Select Download to download the recording and Download recording report to view the recording report. The report contains the details of attendees who viewed the recording and the duration of recording.
- Total views: The total number of views on the recording.
- Attended live and watched recording: View the numbers of participants who participated in both live sessions and viewed recordings. Select the Download list to view the list of participants.
- Average watch duration: The average duration for which the recording is viewed.
Engagement
The interface provides an overview of the live session’s performance of the session, for example, engagement level, engagement over time, and attendee interactions. The Engagement dashboard helps organizers evaluate the event's success and identify areas for improvement.
From the left panel, select Engagement to view the live session’s performance. Select Engagement summary (PDF) to download the performance summary of the live session.
The engagement tab consists of the following sections:
View the number of attendees and engagement in the live session. The engagement level panel allows you to view the following:
- Attendees: The number of participants in the live session.
- Highly engaged: The number of highly engaged participants during the live session, likely to be top prospects.
- Moderately engaged: The number of moderately engaged participants during the live session.
- Rarely engaged: The number of rarely engaged participants during the live session is likely to be those who need extra attention. Select the Download list to download the details of rarely engaged participants.
Adobe Connect calculates the metrics based on engagement and interactions during the session.
Learn about average engagement during the live session from the time series graphs. Hosts can monitor how engagement levels fluctuate, allowing them to identify critical moments of high or low interaction. Check how much of the average engagement score was gained by the participants in different layouts.
Hovering on the graphs displays the following:
- The time at which the level of engagement is monitored.
- Average engagement score at that moment.
- Number of attendees engaged at that time.
- Layout of the engagement at that time.
- Select View instant in recording to view the instant in the recording where engagement was high or low.
- Average engagement score (%) over time in the session
- Attendance over time during the session
- Engagement in different Webinar layouts is shown when different layouts were used inside the room during the event. It helps correlate the rise and fall of engagement in different layouts.
View the attendees’ interactions on different pods. The panel provides information for Answered polls, Asked questions, Interact with chat, Clicked at least one link, and Downloaded at least one file.
Select Go to interactions to view responses from polls, metrics of Q&A, and attendees’ reactions during the session. From Interactions, you can view how attendees are engaged across pods and download interaction reports from the section below.
Interactions
View how attendees interact and engage in the session from Interactions. Track responses to polls, Q&A metrics, reactions from attendees, and dropped links and files from respective pods. Hosts can also download interaction reports of these pods for better analysis. By analyzing these interactions, identify trends and adjust their strategies to encourage a more interactive and engaging environment.
Select Interactions in the left panel to view how attendees are engaged across pods.
The Interactions dashboard consists of the following tabs:
Polls
The tab allows you to view questions and responses added to the poll. You can also do the following:
- Download a report of all interactions in the poll pod.
- View poll questions and their types.
- View the number of responses and the period during which the poll pod was open and engaged.
Quiz
The tab allows you to view the quiz metrics during a live session. The tab contains the following panels:
- Download a report of interactions in the quiz pod.
- View the illustration indicating the participants who submitted the quiz and haven't attempted it.
- The number of questions in the quiz.
- Select View list to quiz report by question list, questions, leaderboard, and individual response.
- Select the Next question to view the details of each question.
- Select Quiz #(quiz name) report (.ZIP) to download this report
- Average accuracy of the answer. Select View leaderboard to view scores.
- Average time taken to attempt a quiz.
Other interactions
Select Download interaction reports from the top-right dropdown to download reports of different pods. Download the QnA report, Links & files report, and Reactions report from here for better tracking.
The engagement information across pods is available in different sections.
View the following attributes of the Q & A pod:
- Total questions asked.
- The number of unanswered questions.
- The number of attendees who asked questions.
- The number of attendees who asked more than 1 question are likely to be top prospects.
- Average time taken to answer a question.
View attendees' reactions during the session, such as agreeing, disagreeing, applauding, or laughing.
View the following details on the graph:
- Total reactions
- Number of attendees who reacted at least once
- Total clicks
- Unique attendees
- A graphical representation of the total clicks on every reaction done by unique attendees.
View links added to the weblinks pod during the session and the number of clicks on the shared link. Weblinks pod allows you to add links from sources outside the event to generate engagement.
View the following details on the graph:
- Links that are added to the weblinks pod.
- Number of attendees who clicked at least one link.
- Number of links launched by the host.
- Trend of unique clicks on each link added to the weblinks pod.
View the files downloaded from the files pod during the session and the number of unique downloads.
View the following details on the graph:
- Name of files that are added to the files pod.
- Number of attendees that downloaded at least one file.
- Trend of unique downloads on each file added to the weblinks pod.
View the engagement in the breakout room in the following ways:
- Total number of breakout rooms in the room during the session
- Total time participants spent in the breakout rooms
- Total participants who were part of breakout rooms.
Attendee activity
The dashboard lets you view consolidated information about each attendee's engagement level. Learn about calculating engagement activity from Participant engagement level.
The table consists of the following:
- Engagement level of each participant. You can also sort them from high to low or vice versa.
- Duration of the session attended by the participant.
- Polls answered by the participants.
- Files downloaded by the participant in the files pod.
- Links clicked by the participant in the weblinks pod.
- Questions asked by the participant in the Q&A pod.
Select Attendee activity report (CSV) to download the participant activity report.

From the left panel, select Download reports.

Select Download all (.zip) to download reports for all activities and pods simultaneously.

icon next to each report to download them individually.
