Video pod in Adobe Connect allows hosts to pop out the video of any attendee to highlight their video during the session. This feature is handy during events or webinars, allowing participants to view a popped-out video of a speaker or prominent attendee, even when the screen is being shared. This ensures speakers remain visible, enhancing engagement and focus throughout the session.
Here are a few things to learn about the pop-out videos:
- The host can pop out videos of at most two attendees at once.
- The popped-out video always opens in the bottom-right corner of the layout.
- To resize the popped-out window, drag it from diagonally.
- Popped-out video can't be moved to the backstage.
- The breakout room doesn't support popped-out videos. If a popped-out video is active when starting a breakout room, it will be restored in the video pod.
- The popped-out video will remain in the room even when switching layouts.
Use the following steps to pop out the video from the video pod during the session:

Disable pop-out video from Adobe Connect Central
Admins can control the availability of the pop-out video feature at an account level from Adobe Connect Central. If disabled, the feature will be removed from all rooms and hosts can not enable it individually for select rooms. Use the following steps to control the availability of the option at an account level:

Login to Adobe Connect Central.

Select the Admin tab from the top menu bar.

Select the Compliance and Control tab.

Select Pods Management tab.

Select Disable video popouts in video pod to disable them for all rooms.
