Versions help you quickly view and compare different edits to the same photo. You can view automatically created versions and create versions of the image you're editing. Lightroom on the web creates auto versions as you edit to allow you to undo changes anytime.

Create versions

  1. On the Lightroom on the web homepage, select All Photos.

  2. Select an image to open it in detail view, and apply the edits you like from the Edit panel.

  3. Select the Versions icon.

  4. In the Versions panel, select the Named tab. This tab lets you save your versions. The Auto tab provides a list of versions automatically saved for you from each editing session.

  5. To create a version in the Named tab, select Create Version, enter the name, and then select Create. A version of your latest edits is added to the Named tab of the Versions panel. You can continue to apply more edits to your photo and create several Versions this way.

Create version dialog box is highlighted with Name text field and Cancel and Create button.
