The Radial Gradient tool lets you apply gradual adjustments across a circular or elliptical area of an image. The effect starts strong at the gradient's center and gradually decreases to zero toward the edges. This tool is commonly used to emphasize subjects, create vignette effects, or apply localized adjustments with a radial transition.

  1. On the Lightroom on the web homepage, select All Photos.

  2. Select an image to open it in detail view, and then select Masking  > Radial Gradient.

  3. Within the Masks panel, select Create new mask

  4. Select and drag the Radial Gradient tool over the areas you want to mask.

  5. Adjust the Feather slider to determine the softness of the adjustments.

  6. Control the overall selected area of the Radial Gradient mask using the Amount slider.
