Find answers to the most commonly asked questions about Content Scheduler in Adobe Express
Why do I need Instagram Business accounts?
It's only possible to automatically publish Instagram posts to Business accounts. If you regularly post on Instagram, changing your account to a Business account will help you grow your audience. Learn how to convert your account to a Business account. Read more about the benefits of upgrading to an Instagram Business account.
Can I use Instagram Creator accounts to publish Instagram stories?
Instagram's current restrictions prevent the publishing of stories with an Instagram Creator account. If you wish to publish stories, we recommend changing your Instagram account type to Business.
Can I publish with a Personal account?
Personal accounts are not currently supported. Learn how to upgrade to an Instagram Business account.
Can I publish Instagram Reels and Stories?
You can now directly publish Instagram Reels and Stories.
Can I edit my Instagram Reel's cover photo before publishing?
Yes. You can now choose the cover photo of an Instagram Reel by selecting a frame from your reel before publishing. Before publishing, on the Share to social media screen, select Edit reel cover > pick a frame for the cover of your reel, and select Confirm.
Why can't I connect to my Facebook groups?
Meta no longer allows publishing to Facebook groups for all third-party apps so we will no longer be able to support this. Posts currently scheduled to Facebook Groups will fail to publish. To continue scheduling with Facebook, please connect to your Facebook Page.
How to tag others in a social media post, using Content Scheduler?
Content Scheduler currently doesn’t automatically populate the social handle of a user you wish to tag in your post. However, on Twitter and Instagram, you're able to manually type the user's handle you want to tag in the caption of your post, ensuring you use the @ symbol ahead of their username. This tag will then work as expected once the post is published.
Why is my social media account disconnected in Content Scheduler?
Connections to social media accounts expire after 60 days. Select Schedule > Manage connections and then select Reconnect next to each account to reconnect.
Is there a maximum number of posts allowed on social media through Content Scheduler?
You can now post up to 1000 posts per month across all six social channels (Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), Pinterest, LinkedIn, and TikTok) on the Free plan.
How many channels can I connect to?
Starting now, Content Scheduler is enhancing its posting capabilities for Individual users. Users on the Free plan can connect one account per social channel (Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), Pinterest, LinkedIn, and TikTok). To connect additional accounts, consider upgrading to a Premium plan to connect up to three accounts per social channel.
What are the limitations when posting to multiple social media accounts?
- Facebook: You can post the same message to three accounts.
- Instagram: You can post the same message to three accounts.
- LinkedIn: You can post the same message to three accounts (eg. a LinkedIn Company Page AND a Personal profile) .
- X (Twitter): Posting the same message multiple times is not permitted. Refer to X's spam policy.
- Pinterest: Posting the same message on multiple accounts is not possible since Pinterest suggests editing a post before re-sharing.
- TikTok: Posting the same message on multiple accounts is not possible since TikTok prioritizes original content. Edit the content if you would like to re-share the post.
